                        key 9 for TIC   

 From 1/9/96 access to Silicon Village  

 via Mercury 5000 was withdrawn.        

 From 1/11/96 access to Silicon Village 

 via the Midac service was phased out.  

 These services were replaced by Imminus

 FastDial and Imminus Fastrak.          

 FastDial provides at least 9600 baud.  

 Fastrak provides 1200/75 baud.         

 During 1998, Imminus replaced the local

 Fastrak nodes with Fastrak Direct on   

 local-rate 0845 numbers, key 1 IPs only

 There is a time charge for using the   

 Imminus network.                       

 The ending of SV subscriptions means   

 Villagers may not now use the Imminus  

 services without permission.
