Politicians and newspapers have taken   

sides over whether Britain should join  

the European single currency, the euro. 

The Tories under William Hague want to  

keep the pound, saying Labour plans to  

scrap it. The value of the euro has     

fallen sharply since its launch, while  

the pound has stayed high - causing     

problems for British exporters. There's 

been a lack of informed debate on the   

issues involved. Over to you!
